Happy Mommahoods Day! Here’s to all the mommas out there, especially mine! Hope you get a moment to chill today. Here are my Top 3 virtual hoods to explore and enjoy.
- The Guggenheim has a cool feature for your next Zoom happy hour. They’re offering free downloads of virtual backdrops of that iconic Frank Lloyd Wright building. Interior and exterior shots from current and past exhibits. Tres cool.
- The Jacob Burns Film Center in Pleasantville, NY is presenting new releases in their Virtual Screening Room. For $10 you can screen a film within a 72 hour time frame. My selection is the bittersweet French romance “Someone, Somewhere.” The cinematography alone will transport you to Paris. Just pair it with a nice Sancerre.
- Finnish design house Marimekko is in a spring/summer collab with Uniqlo. Modernistas will swoon over the pops of color and swingy A-line dresses. They’re just what the online retail therapy doctor ordered.
